Opening night poetry reading

Opened on Friday the 16th of Septmeber at Tandanya with a poetry reading from FNAWN South Australian delegates - Mandy Brown, Nat Harkin, Joanna Agius, Ali Eckermann and myself.

I shared 6 of my poems to the largest audience i’ve ever read to and was extra nervouse reading to my FNAWN peers and role models in First Nations Literature. The poems 6 poems featured were:

  • It Got Us Thinkin’

  • GLOBAL PANDEMIC

  • Incarceration Nation

  • Black Lives Matter
