Comissioned emu feather necklaces for a special customer in New South Wales.

Both necklaces are woven with raffia and cotton yarn using the traditional Ngarrindjeri and Ngadjuri weaving stitch.

The customer ordered the red necklace after seeing the orginal commissioned piece featured in one of @nharla_photography beautiful shoots and wanted a second necklace of the same design featuring the colours of the Aboriginal Flag representing the black for the people, yellow for the sun and red for the land [-o-].

I absoluetly love doing commissioned pieces and to be able to work with the customer to create a unique and special piece just for them.
